The inner priestess is the aspect of your being that knows all life is sacred. She upholds the sanctity of your daily life, your hopes and dreams, your physical, sexual, emotional, spiritual, and mental natures. Over the past twelve years, over 800 Arizona women have externalized this aspect of self through participation in an awakening the priestess process. To date,well over one hundred priestess circles have engaged the six to nine month process designed to deepen and expand self awareness and authenticity. Consistently, priestesses discovered that the completion of the process signaled a beginning, not an ending. Thus, a sisterhood has emerged out of our shared desire to expand the process. This sisterhood brings forth foundational ancient wisdom that we might co-create a celestial earth where heaven and earth, spirit and matter, the masculine and the feminine are harmonically unified. Above all, we support and celebrate one another's sovereignty, our divine blueprints, and our co-creative expression. We also offer facilitation for men who are interested in the priest process.
In response to growing interest, there are now circles in New York, California, the Carolinas, Georgia, Kansas, Washington, Conn.,Tucson, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sedona, and Flagstaff Arizona and several other states. To be an initiate, is to be a candidate for an entirely new direct experience of spiritual significance. We learn to honor ourselves and one another; we honor the goddess within and without. We learn to bring the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine into balance.
The process profoundly unfolds in nurturing ways, that support the awakening of each priestess in her own time and her own way. Your intention, in and of itself, will create your own experience. That experience is amplified and deepened within the intimacy of the circle. . Throughout our time together, one's inner priestess is called forth by investigating the sacred feminine through sharing, deep exploration of self, playful dramatization, drumming, dance, song and co-creation of ritual and ceremony. Process completion is celebrated in an emergence ceremony wherein initiates may self proclaim as a Priestess to the World, and/or be ordained in the International Fellowship of Isis.Throughout this process, your facilitators and the sisterhood, hold sacred space for the wondrous awakening of your priestess self and your authentic, creative nature.
The process, itself, has evolved to new levels, reflective of the quickening in consciousness we are all experiencing. This packet of information provides you with an overview of the process.
